CHELSEA HOTEL

At 24, Frederic monceau will exhibit his works for the second time in the fashion designer’s gallery, Stefanie Renoma, who appealed him in the purpose to sublimate, by pictures, her creations.
After a first exhibition about the danse « Dancing Smoking », here is a new story who turns around the mythical CHELSEA HOTEL. Since it construction, it has been the meeting place of the biggest names and faces of the artistic world: Jack Kerouac, Stanley Kubrick, Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Dee Dee Ramone, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Sid Vicious, Andy Warhol, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Harry Smith…
This legendary establishment has inherited their prints, all leaving behind them makes and memories of their impertinence and incitements.
Marginal and dilapidated institution where all kinds of personalities lived, from the dealer to the prostitute… the Chelsea Hotel became a true shelter: it will have seen pass celebrities from all over the world by welcoming them among it walls, sometimes gracefully or in exchange of works arts. It is one the reasons why today the Chelsea Hotel has become a myth and a global benchmark for the entire artistic community.
Stanley Bard, last owner and director from 1955 to 2007, embodied the salt and the spirit of the Chelsea Hotel. The survivors of the Titanic stayed at the Chelsea Hotel, this one has initially to be the final point of the cruise. Today, its facade is still adorned of plaques engraved with the names of its most prestigious residents. The Chelsea Hotel was also the scene of many suicides, visitors and residents coming there especially to throw them over the balconies.
« Vertige »: Maurice Renoma, last visitor of the place, present us his imagination around the Chelsea Hotel.
« TRIBUTE TO CHELSEA HOTEL » Stefanie Renoma present us his temporary collection through several photographers, included Frederic Monceau.
Come to discover the exhibition at Renoma’s shop, from Friday, May 29th to Friday, July 31st, in Paris

JUMP! 106.9 CROWNS JESSE REYNOLDS WINNER OF GREATEST GIG ON EARTH

Jesse Reynolds joins JUMP! Mornings with Tony Stark starting June 2

(Friday, May 8, 2015 - Ottawa, Canada) Starting June 2, Ottawa listeners
will be waking up to JUMP! Mornings with Tony Stark & Jesse Reynolds, as
the hit radio station has crowned the winner of its Greatest Gig On Earth
co-host talent search.

The search began in early March, with over 160 hopefuls looking to land
the coveted spot alongside current morning show host Tony Stark. The list
was whittled down to 30, 10, five, and three, respectively, before
Reynolds was announced as the winner this morning.

After submitting an online video, surviving a series of grueling social
media tasks, co-hosting three morning shows and performing a live lip-sync
battle, Reynolds, an Ottawa-based comedian and actor, was the last person
standing.

“To say that we’re excited to introduce Jesse to JUMP! listeners across
the region would be the understatement of the century,” said Stark. “If
you’ve followed Jesse’s journey throughout this process, you know that he
is a fresh, uber-entertaining voice unlike any other on local radio.”

Dubbed “Ottawa’s Acid Tongue” by Capital Xtra Magazine, Reynolds is
definitely not afraid to share his two cents and, in his words, “tell it
like it is.”

“I’m extremely pumped to join the team at Ottawa’s coolest new radio
station,” said Reynolds. “I not only encourage, but I challenge everyone
to listen to JUMP! Mornings with Tony Stark & Jesse Reynolds. We’ll bring
more caffeine to your morning than 12 cups of coffee.”

JUMP! 106.9’s Greatest Gig On Earth has taken the city – and social media
– by storm, generating over 20 million impressions and consistently
trending region-wide.

“This has been a wild ride, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Mark
Dickie, General Manager, Corus Radio Ottawa. “On the air, on the street,
and on social media, each participant has made their mark, and we cannot
wait to introduce JUMP! Mornings with Tony Stark & Jesse Reynolds.”

JUMP! Mornings with Tony Stark & Jesse Reynolds will hit the air Tuesday,
June 2, and will be heard every weekday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
