Best Dressed at the 2012 MET Gala!

Hey guys!
It's been forever since I last wrote a most so I figured the MET Gala would be the perfect way to get back into it. Celebrities, fashion designers, models...everyone comes out for the MET Gala and they look fabulous while doing so! I adored the gowns for this event this year because many of them included my favorites: metallic and sequins. Read on for my favorites from the Gala.

Karolina Kurkova

I know, I know...if you have read this blog before then you just KNEW this was coming. Model Karolina Kurkova completely dazzled in a floor-length sequin gown by Rachel Zoe. I was honestly in awe. This is my dream gown because as most of you know, I am a sucker for sparkle and shine. She looked gorgeous and I can't get enough of it!

Carey Mulligan

She looked so cute!! I love the custom sequin Prada dress. Her hair looked so pretty in a retro-type updo and her makeup was soft and pretty with a bit of a smokey eye. This dress totally stole the show and it suits her so well!

Jessica Alba

What a beautiful metallic Michael Kors gown. I love the one shoulder detail and the cinching at the waist. Her hair looked beautiful in waves and I love the classic red lips. This dress really makes Alba glow and she coulden't have done it any better.

Amber Heard

First off, I love the color of this breathtaking Zac Posen gown. I have always been a fan of his designs and this one is just stunning. I love the detailing at the bust and the way the dress just seems to hug her curves in all the right places. Her makeup and hair looked flawless and I love how her lip color really complements the dress color.
